Snow Days
We both didn’t grow up here on the west coast, we each came from our respective corner of the country where long snowy winters were the norm. However, here in Vancouver snow days are few and far between and if we have a craving for the cold stuff we usually have to pack up and head north. This year has been different. The snow began to fall one mid December night and we woke the next morning to a pristine blanket of white. The city literally ground to a halt and we took the opportunity to get out and see some of our favourite local spots from a totally different perspective.
